Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Tommy Apostolos Fund has helped tens of thousands of Roseville students stay warm and dry.
This year at its Annual Holiday Shopping Day was no different. Over 2,000
students, parents and volunteers braved the rain, wind and cold to line up at Kohl's before daybreak to outfit worthy kids with new coats, shoes, pajamas and more.
"Tommy A' works directly with Roseville City School District teachers and administrators to identify students that could use added support. This year, the number of children identified by district schools grew more than 20 percent over the previous year.
"To know that we have over 100 kids more than last year who could benefit from taking part in the shopping spree makes us even more grounded in our mission to serve these students" remarked TAF Executive Director Hallie Romero.
